Hi !
\nMy name is Alex, originally from a small town in Belgium you probably never heard of
\nThat\u2019s where I\u2019ve spent most of my life<\/p>\n

The first part of my time there was focused on getting a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, but after graduating, I actually wasn\u2019t too keen on jumping right away into the overwhelming professional opportunities of such a career path \u2013 even though I felt like missing something<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m glad \u2013 really glad \u2013 I didn\u2019t<\/p>\n

I left for Chile, shipped my motorbike over, and started riding it up North
\nI eventually found out that rock climbing was kinda fun
\nSo, I kept doing that
\nDriving
\nClimbing
\nFor 11 months
\nUntil I got to Canada
\nI worked for a year in BC \u2013 rope access in the city and snowmobile photography in Whistler \u2013 and took the road again, on this indestructible red bike that carried me for so long in the first place<\/p>\n

Two more years dirtbagging around the US, Asia, Canada, Patagonia, Europe
\nI started guiding climbing in Vietnam and kayaking in Greenland
\nI was working freelance during the rest of the time
\nBuilding websites, translating, trading pictures for cams and portaledges<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I shoot the things I see<\/p>\n

And I mean,
\nI think I like that.<\/p>\n

\nI\u2019m now guiding in Iceland few months a year, and the rest of time,
\nI spend it trying to balance photography and exciting media projects,
